Tomorrow is the winter solstice: some have already had (enough?) of winter; we have had some cool (for Floridians, read cold) days. But the beauty of winter doesn't show up here. For that you have to go north.
I'm on a new med with all of its side effects (which I hope will wear off soon). So I'm not going north for now. Christmas in Florida pales compared to what it's like up north. I remember snowy Christmas Eves; in their way they are a highlight of a year.
Again, fog. To paraphrase Whitman, do I repeat myself, very well, I repeat myself. I find this image so nicely meditative that I include it here.
Several bad nights lately and I'm supposed to travel north next week, so I don't know how often I will be posting til I get back.
First foggy day this season—and I do like fog!

Snow: so lovely to watch and look at. I'm glad I don't have to drive to work or anywhere else on it though.
