My photography club has a theme for each meeting. This month's theme is "water and light". This photo fits the theme, I think.
I ran across this line from Kathleen Raine this morning: "my love of nature was really a poet's love for meaning and beauty, rather than for fact or for manipulations and applications of scientific knowledge" (Nabe: for wisdom rather than knowledge?)
It reminded me of what George de Wolfe teaches: an excellent litany for someone setting out to make a photograph is:
