Another place I would like to return to: Bar Harbor. Instead we are back to wearing masks indoors here at the community—and inside elsewhere. Maybe this just is the new normal after all. When (and if) COVID ever becomes no problem, the next plague may be upon us?
August: Summer doldrums (which last here through September). Red tide still at beach, though not as bad now—no dead fish, just the smell which limits the amount of time I want to spend there. Nearing now the peak of hurricane season. Just the usual.
